THE STADIUM is located on the shores of Lake Washington,
view of the snow-capped Cascades in the distance. It is
accessible from four street car lines and four automobile high-
ways.
Through the Washington Canal and locks the stadium
can be reached by water from Lakes Washington and Union
and all of Puget Sound.
It has a seating capacity of 30,000. A speaker can be
heard from all parts of the Stadium by the use of a magna-
vox-a mechanical contrivance that magnifies the voice of
the speaker.
Our State University is now one of the ten largest educa-
tional institutions in the country. Its campus covers 400
acres, and is generally conceded to be one of the most beau-
tiful campi in the United States.
