Marineland, Florida-A Marine Studio's staff diver
fends off the attack of a giant Manta Ray or Devil Fish.
The largest specimen of marine life ever to be kept in
captivity anywhere weighed 1500 pounds and was 1372
feet from wing tip to wing tip. He was landed and placed
in the World's Only Oceanarium only after a terrific six-5
hour struggle. Marine Studios is located on the new
Ocean Shore Boulevard 18 miles south of St. Augustine and
35 miles north of Daytona Beach.
