BIRD REFUGE
The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, 12
miles west of Brigham City, Utah is the lar-
gest of its kind in the world. 64,000 acres
are under water in this game bird sanctuary. i
Its position on the northern shore of Great
Salt Lake makes it a great natural breeding
place for water fowls. It has been improved
and enlarged. Every year thousands of mi-
grants are cared for here. Three hundred
different types of birds have been observed
at this sanctuary.
