HALF DOME FROM SENTINEL BRIDGE
In appearance is a remnant of a huge rock
sphere, one half of which has suddenly been
engulfed. Cut down a sheer 2000 feet and
noticeably concave, this massive rock rises
4941 feet above the floor of the valley which
is 4000 feet above the sea level.
