Guided tours through the Hungry Horse Dam and Power
Plant in northwestern Montana enable visitors to view
the huge spinning shafts that couple the 105,000 horse-
power turbines to generators which supply electrical
energy for a power-hungry Pacific Northwest. Hungry
Horse Powerhouse is the largest building in Montana.
