One of America's most modern office buildings with 39,500 square
feet of double plate glass windows and sheet aluminum exterior.
Completely air-conditioned by reverse cycle heating and cooling,
using water from three wells under the building. Home Office of
Equitable Savings and Loan Association which was founded in
1890. Building completed in 1948.
