South Beach is at Orleans on the south shore of Big Spirit
Lake. Thousands of local residents and summer visitors flock
to this beach every summer for swimming, paddling about or
just wading. Others can drowse or sunbathe on the fine, clean
sand. This waterfront area, owned by the state, welcomes all
who come.
