Additional Details:
El Garces, the new Santa Fe Hotel, at Needles, is constructed of reinforced concrete in Colonial style. It is 518 feel long and two stories high; both floors are entirely surrounded by wide verandas. In front is an open court, with fountain. This hotel is named after Padre Francisco Garces, a noted Spanish priest who made several journeys through this country in 1771 and 1774 en route between the old California missions and Southern Arizona
