River Erosion Grand Canyon, Arizona.
This group shows the Grand Canyon of the
Colorado from Yavapai Point, where it is ap-
proximately fourteen miles wide and a mile
deep. This canyon is unique, by reason of
its great size and the temples and buttes left
standing in it. The colors and forms of the
rock monuments combine to make this "the
most sublime spectacle of the world."
