The Post Office Building was erected in 1909,
immediately following the fire of the previous autumn. It is of
brick and concrete, with tile roofing. The total cost was $ 32,000.
In addition to housing a Post Office of the second-class, the
building also contains the Chautauqna Print Shop where all
the publications of Chautauqua Institution are produced.
