Additional Details:
John Brown's ten little Indians couldn't have been any cuter than these little future princesses or more handsome than these future councilmen. The beautiful school in the background is the Pearl River Indian School, where the annual Choctaw Indian Fair is held. Handicraft such as baskets, neck pieces, costumes, etc., are exhibited for sale along with displays of produce, canning and homemaking items. The Fair is held the last 4 days of August. You'll enjoy the colorful costumes of the Choctaw women, the stick-ball games and the Western Indian Ceremonial Dances by Apaches, Comanches and Kiowas
