School (foreground) was founded in 1921. Made of
native rock construction, it is an architectural gem in
a beautiful location. (background) Clarke College,
founded in 1843, is one of the finest colleges for
young women in the country. It is conducted by the
Sisters of Charity, B.V.M. Sporting beautiful buildings,
its campus is one of the most beautiful in the midwest.
