Broome Technical Community College, one of the
East's outstanding examples of a comprehensive two-
year community college, prepares its graduates for
both immediate employment and for transfer to four-
year schools. In 1964, more than 41 percent of the
county's high school graduates who went to college,
enrolled at Broome Tech, which offers associate
degrees in nine fields.
