Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is a low-
cost commuter, community-based institution of
higher education. Its purpose is to meet the
college-level educational needs of the cities of
Buena Vista, Clifton Forge, Covington, and
Lexington, and the counties of Alleghany, Bath,
Botetourt (northern half), Highland and Rock-
bridge. It is a member institution of the Virginia
Community College System.
