The Oklahoma State Student Union has been called
"The Waldorf Astoria of Union Buildings." Its steel,
wood, and upholstered furnishings were supplied by
leading furniture designers and manufacturers. It's
period rooms have several antique originals from
Middle Europe, England, France and the East. Yet,
the true significance of the building's value is the
number of times you hear among students, faculty
and visitors the expression, "I'LL MEET YOU AT
THE UNION."
