A view showing Clear Ridge Cut at Everett Pa., 153 Feet deep, the largest and deepest man made cut in the United States, "Little Panama," required the removal of 1,350,000 cubic yards of earth. More than 700,000 pounds of explosives were used in blasting through this ridge.
