Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway perform the journey of
thirty-six miles in 40 minutes. An express train leaves both
towns at every hour throughout the day. A restaurant car
train leaves Manchester at 2.30 p.m., and Liverpool at
4.40 p.m. daily!except Sundays.
