The University of Kentucky's Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, constructed 1957-1962 includes the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing, and the 500 bed University Hospital. The granite mural over the main entrance depicts the historical development of medicine and was done by Richard Haines. The sculpture portrays the heights and depths of the human experience.
