GOVERNOR'S MANSION
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
Facing Center Street on West 18th, is Arkansas'
first official Governor's mansion. This stately
structure was completed in January, 1950, at a
cost of $197,000. The mansion is a Georgian
colonial type two-story brick and occupies six
and a quarter acres. The new buildings are con-
structed of age-mellowed, oversized brick from
old state properties.
