The Administration Building
Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina
This building is named in honor of South Caro-
Tina's famed Governor “Pitchfork” Ben Till-
man, and its famed clock tower is a landmark
on Clemson University. The building was com-
pleted in 1893, four years after the Thomas G.
Clemson bequest establishing the University,
and was accepted by the General Assembly.
