Nauvoo House

| This structure was to be a hotel and house the offices of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Nauvoo. However, it was only partly completed. Later, part of the building was completed as a residence for Joseph's widow, Emma, who remained in Nauvoo with the children after her husband's death. She died in this building in 1879. Today it is used for the youth camps and reunions of the church |
