Originally Buckhorn Bar, Established 1881 Interior view of the Famous Buckhorn Curio Store displaying the world's greatest collection of horned heads. On right hand wall is pictured the largest steer head in existence, measuring 7 feet 9 inches tip to tip and 11 feet along the horns and 21 inches around base of horns. Ranking with the leading points of interest so numerous in the historic Alamo City, a visit to San Antonio is not complete without an hour or two spent in the bewildering environment of this place, which in reality is more of a Museum, than a store.
