CAPE COD CALLS
"We face four seas," our slogan runs,
Four seas of azure blue,
And o'er them forth to foreign climes
Have sailed good men and true.
Our marshes lie in velvet browns,
Soft shades of russet tan,
And o'er them wheel the white winged gulls
A lone crow in the van.
Our beaches white with high piled dunes,
Where the Dusty Miller clings,
Are foils for the gay clad bather folk
Each recurrent season brings.
We're just a summer playground now,
Our Glories in the past
"Cape Cod Calls" in joyous tones
Long may her prestige last.
