In prehistoric times the culture of
the Pueblo Indians ineluded the
Potter's Art. Mainly the pottery
consisted of household utensils, but
specimens of pottery dolls, knick-
knacks and ornaments have been
found in ruins. This art of pottery
making, without use of molds, pot-
tery wheels or other inventions of
the white man, is still carried on by
the Pueblo Indians.
The Southwest Arts Crafts,
Santa Fe, New Mexico, will gladly
answer all inquiries about Pueblo
Indian pottery.
