the short end. He was born in New York
City, February 12, 1886; height, 5 feet 71/2
inches; weight, 135 pounds; color, white.
Leach retired for a tim about 1916, hav-
ing moved from New York to California, but
the big purses got his eye the past year and
he made a comeback, which has been suc-
