This $18,000,000—1,000 bed Hospital was
opened by the Veterans Administration on
January 15, 1950. The Hospital covers ap-
proximately 161/2 acres. Every room has out-
side light and ventilation. The interior is fin-
ished in pastel colors. On a clear day,
