This picture shows the great San Carlos or
Coolidge Dam and the spillways and proposed
power plant under the center arch of the Dam.
The drive across the crest of the Dam is 880
feet in length and 16 feet wide. It is 250 feet
above bed rock, 300 feet at base of canyon walls,
will create a lake 25 miles long. 3 miles in width,
capacity 1,200,000 acre feet and will water
100,000 acres.
