Sunflowr blossoms attract bees, so honeyt is a by-product. The seed makes excellent poultry feed, can be ground into flour for bread and pastry and is delicious when roastyed. Sunflower seed oil is comparable to the best vegetable oil, contains Vitamins A, B, and D, is valuable in the manufacture of oleomargarine, shortening, etc. and the residue is good for fattening livestock.
