Campus Martius Museum and the River Museum

Campus Martius Museum is located on the site of the fortified stockade built in 1788 and contains the original home of General Rufus Putnam. Priceless relics and memorabilia of Marietta's early history and beginning are displayed here. The River Museum, established in 1941 by "The Sons and Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen" contains an elaborate display of famous models of old steamboats, photos, and paintings.
