BODIE MUSEUM IN THE OLD MINERS UNION HALL OF BODIE, CALIFORNIA. This museum houses many of the relics of the early days of the mining camp of Bodie, including hearses, gambling tables, and a collection of fine Indian baskets, the old Bank records of the early days, all from the collection of the Cain family, who lived in Bodie for two generations. Bodie is in Mono County in the heart of the Mark Twain country, just 18 miles from U. S. 395 at Mono Lake.
