state. Currently undergoing restoration by the
Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
Site where the constitution for the new State of
Mississippi was written, and where Aaron Burr was ar-
raigned for treason. John James Audubon was a faculty
member; Jefferson Davis, a student. Nature trail and
picnic facilities.
