GREETINGS FROM "THE AMISH COUNTRY"
An Amish home is never complete without children
each in turn must learn to work as part of a family
team. Although this may seem like a life of constant
drudgery, it is far from it. For the boys; baseball, ice
skating and sledding; the girls enjoy bicycle riding,
jump rope and playing a game of hide and seek. An
Amish child always knows he can travel anywhere
where there are Amish families and seek food and
shelter without mention of money.
