HereGeneral Washington made his headquarters
during the Revolutionary War, and it was here in
1783 that the Army of the Revolution was disban-
ded when peace was declared. The Museum in
the grounds contains many valuable and interesting
relics of the War of the Revolution, the War of
1812, and the War with Mexico.
