Marietta College's oldest building, Erwin Hall,
is framed by the McCoy Memorial Gateway at
the main campus entrance on the corner of
Fourth and Putnam Streets. The gateway was
erected in 1962 as a memorial gift from the
family of the late John H. McCoy, a trustee of
Marietta College for 24 years.
