Built for Spanish Royal Officials. The double wall at the
i base was to protect it from the sea. The only house in the city
with a double base, proving beyond doubt that it was built
years previous to the old Spanish sea wall. Contains first city
jail, old fashioneri fire places, and bears the unique distinction
of having two distinct roofs, one being of solid Coquina, to
protect it from the flaming arrows of the Seminoles. Visited
by all tourists.
