KINGSTON PIKE. One of the features for which
Knox County is noted is the abundance of good roads. In JUN Fof Happy)
extreme length and breadth the county measures about 40 by
25 miles, and in it over 200 miles of fine macadamized pikes
have been completed, reaching every important point within
and beyond the county limits. The Kingston Pike, as here
seen, is a handsome type of these roads.
