Built in 1731, and known as the Third Mission, is now but a picturesque ruin to call up a memory of the past. It was named after Saint Giovanni De Capistrano, a friar of the Franciscan Order, who was born in the year 1836, in the little town of Capistrano in the Abruzzi in Italy
