The First Presbyterian Church
Bloomfield, Essex County, New Jersey
Known as 'Old First' - earliest church organized
in Bloomfield. The Presbyterian Society adopted
the name for their parish in honor of General
Joseph Bloomfield, distinguished citizen of New
Jersey, who visited the church in 1797.
