Coach Paul W. “Bear" Bryant (1913-1983) rides off the field
on his players' shoulders after his 323rd career victory (his
final game) at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee.
“Bear” was Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at the
University of Alabama, and collegiate football's all-time
winning coach, with a lifetime record of 323-85-17.
