Our Lady Star-of-the-Sea R. C. Church was erected in
1897 in Gothic architecture. The Shrine of Our Lady of
Lourdes is a newer landmark erected in 1937 of Italian
marble.
There are three other R. C. Churches in Atlantic City
and 54 of all denominations serving over 60,000 local lay-
men and 16,00 ,000 visitors annually.
