Diplomat wagon.
Get inside, take a look around, and
you'll probably be tempted to call it a
luxury sedan. And really, you wouldn't
be far wrong. Because the new
Diplomat wagon has a lot in common
with its elegant two- and four-door
brethren.
That means lots of attention to
detail. And attention to comfort. The
standard seating, for example, is a
split-back vinyl bench with a
fold-down center armrest. Or you
may select the optional 60/40 leather
seating with fold-down center
armrest. There's even a rich 60/40 tan
Verdi velour cloth seat available.
The floor features elegant carpeting
throughout. And so does the cargo
area which has been fitted with
stainless steel strips to make loading
and unloading easier. And for
safekeeping valuable items, there are
lockable storage bins in the cargo
area side trim panels.
Something else that's noteworthy is
Diplomat wagon's 112.7-inch
wheelbase. It's the same length the
two- and four-door Diplomats ride on.
That means surprising maneuverability
for a vehicle that can handle 72.7
cubic feet of cargo.
The new Diplomat wagon. A luxury
sedan when you want it. A cargo
specialist when you need it.
