Beaumont Tower
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
East Lansing, Michigan
Standing in the center of the main campus, this
tower marks the site of Old College Hall, the first
building in the world built expressly for the teaching
of scientific agriculture. The Tower houses a 47 beli
carillon presented to MSU in 1929 by the late John
W. Beaumont, a graduate of 1882.
