CINCINNATI UNION TERMINAL
This magnificent Art Deco structure, America's most elaborate and
expensive railroad terminal, was completed in 1933 at a cost of $42
million and used until 1972. The rotunda is the largest unsupported
half dome in the world, 200 ft. wide and 107 ft. high. The terminal was
reopened in August, 1980 and is now an entertainment, dining,
shopping and tourist attraction. The murals were designed by Winald
Reiss (1886-1953) and executed by Ravenna Mosaic Company
