NEVADA CITY, CALIFORNIA
This view shows old Firehouse No. 2 as it has
guarded Broad Street since Gold Rush days. Lighted
only by the setting sun and the glow of gas lamps,
without electric lights or signs, this must be much
as it looked to many miners who called it home.
