President Ronald Reagan, indeed, won his four more years in the White House on November 6, 1984 and here you see the Victory Celebration as the President, surrounded by his family, takes the accolades of the partisan crowd. Reagan had good reason to claim a mandate; for, his electoral-vote total was the largest in history. His drubbing of Mondale limiting the former Vice President to his home state of Minnesota and the District of Columbia, was out-distanced only by Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt's shellacking of Republican Alf Landon in 1936. "Four More Years" means more economic recovery, no tax increase, reduction of federal budget deficit, a firm stance against Russia, and continued debate on prayer in the schools, abortion and tuition tax credits. November 6, 1984
