Falcon Lake, with 467 miles of shoreline, was formed behind this Falcon Dam recently dedicated by the Presidents of Mexico and the U.S. The dam will eventually impound 4,000,000 acre-feet of water for irrigation and industrial use. Several towns had to be relocated as a result of the formation of Falcon Lake
