portant Army Post in the South and
has the largest garrison in the United
States. It covers more than 18,000
acres, on which large bodies of troops
can be mobilized and drilled. This
Brigade Post consists of: Two regi
ments of Cavalry, one of Infantry, and
one of Artillery, one Hospital, one En-
gineering and one Pioneer Corps, and
also everything belonging to the head-
quarters of such a post.
