The Cassia Fistula is a native of the East Indies but
thrives in South Florida. It has great masses of yellow
blossoms which undoubtedly suggested its more common
name of "Golden Shower Tree." It blooms in June with
the Royal Poinciana and Jacaranda trees and all three are
sometimes planted together resulting in a brilliant blending
of the scarlet, yellow and blue which defies description.
