"Here he comes! Get ready to jump out!" The boys
are at the Five Points in the Mark Twain Cave at
Hannibal, Missouri. They are preparing to leap from
the entrance of one of the five passages that con-
verge there, to frighten their comrade who ap-
proaches along the main aisle. Such antics were
favored by Tom Sawyer and his friends in the book
"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Tom and Becky
Thatcher were lost in these labyrinthine passages.
