Gilroy, California is the home of the world famous “GILROY
GARLIC FESTIVAL.” Annually 6 million pounds of popular Garlic
products are processed.
Precision grown fields of Garlic as they appear about five and
a half months after planting the previous fall.
The Garlic plants have been dug, windrowed and allowed to dry
in the field. They are then “topped” by hand to remove the roots
and tops.
